So, Joe’s been building a coop. It was just about done….on May 2, we stopped in at Blue Hill Farms to pick up our new girls!
It took about a week & a half to decide on their names, we dithered quite a bit… We thought about several themes (Chicken Run, Lost Characters, old lady names), but as each revealed their personalities… these are the names that stuck: Penny & Yoshi (the brown twins), Ginger (white w/copper spots), Tallulah Belle (or Raven, we still go back-n-forth – she’s the black one, of course), Sugar (white) & Pepper (the black & grey).
